For many years Dr. Peter Huemer researched the development of thought in the fundamentalist, protestant churches and the influence of credo on the freedom in Christian life.
He has gone – earlier than we thought.
Completely unexpectedly, his heart stopped beating. Dr. Peter Huemer – a life full of energy, faith in Jesus, confidence, and determination – has come to its earthly end. Peter lived a richly fulfilled life. With wholehearted dedication, he devoted himself to his profession as a dentist – not only out of passion, but also out of deep respect for the people who placed their trust in him.

It was always important to him to give more than what was expected. His great heart beat not only in medicine, but also for humanity – for justice, for social responsibility, for all those he encountered around the world.

His family was his greatest joy. His love for us was boundless – and we know it remains, beyond death. He leaves behind a great void, footsteps into which one cannot simply step. And yet it was his wish that his work continues to live on – in our hearts, in our memories, and in all that we have learned from him.

Peter was a visionary. A man of conviction, of foresight, and of deep faith in a living God and in the resurrection. We weep because he is gone – but we continue to live in his spirit: with faith, love, strength, and confidence.
